Job Title:
Junior Bicycle Education Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic junior bicycle education assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in providing safe riding practices for transport and fun, connecting with a range of participants from children to adults, and inspiring more people to ride a bicycle. The role requires the ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and have a love for riding bicycles.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in delivering high-quality training packages that meet our curriculum standards
* Supporting Instructors who teach safe riding practices for transport and fun
* Provide customer service to participants from children to adults
* Assist in the preparation, loading, transport, delivery and pick-up of bicycles and equipment
* Help to organize and maintain the workshop space
* Provide support to workshop instructors and participants as needed
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of workshops and events
* Help to ensure that all workshop activities are conducted safely and in accordance with established procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift and move bicycles and equipment
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
* Working with Children Clearance if required by legislation.
Working Hours: casual, occasional
Location: within Perth Metropolitan area. Our workshop is located in O'Connor (near Hilton shops)
Duration: Ongoing casual employment
Salary range is per hour, including casual loading but plus Super if applicable. The salary level is adjusted according to the employee's age.
