Job Title: Support Worker

Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to empower customers to stay in their own home and maintain connections with their community. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with daily living activities
* Providing domestic assistance (cleaning)
* A range of clinical care - including medication administration
* Manual tasks such as hoisting may be required
* Preparing meals
* Offering social support, including assistance with community trips
You will also have the potential to support a customer with cerebral palsy if your availability and skills match. On-the-job training and buddy shifts are provided to develop competency across a broad range of skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (essential)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening check or willingness to obtain one
* Ability to facilitate people to develop and sustain their own social connections and relationships
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude to ensure our customers receive flexible and individualised support
* Ability to assist with physical tasks and help with mobility as needed
* Willingness to perform high care support, including bowel care
