Service: Extend at Mount Pleasant Primary School
Location: Mount Pleasant, VIC
Position: Casual
Hourly Rate: $43 to $45 per hour (inclusive of WRP) + Super
Hours: Before School Care: 6:45 AM‐8:45 AMAfter School Care: 2:30 PM‐6:00 PMMonday to Friday
Responsibilities
* Plan and program engaging science experiments, sports tournaments, educational activities and creative arts for children.
* Lead a safe, inclusive environment that encourages all children to feel valued.
* Prepare healthy snacks to maintain child energy during sessions.
* Collaborate with the Programs Engagement Manager on assessment & ratings, supported by compliance experts.
* Build trusted relationships with children, educators and school leadership.
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of the service to ensure smooth functioning.
Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care (or studying toward these).
* Valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, engaging "can‐do" attitude.
