The role
Opportunity
We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Cafe Manager to assist in the management of our cafés located within the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This is a floor‐based role, where learning your customer base and knowledge is critical, as you will be on the machine pumping out consistent awesome coffees.
Responsibilities
- Financials – including labour, revenue & budget targets
- Managing staffing requirements, recruitment, and rosters
- Ordering and replenishing stock, including stock takes
- Customer service standards of excellence
- Leadership and training
- Compliance regarding food safety and WHS in line with company requirements
Skills and Experience
- Multitask and maintain composure whilst under pressure
- Proven background in retail sales, cafés and management
- Focus on providing excellent customer service
- Understanding of key cash controls and compliance
- Ability to work in a rapid‐paced, dynamic environment
- Highly developed leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years managing a café (preferred)
- Excellent leadership qualities

Pay
$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
