About The Role
We have an opportunity for high performing Cooks to join the team at Major Venues. You will be required to work within 3 venues across the Gold Coast, including the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Coomera Indoor Sport Centre and Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium. The successful applicants will be required to work within our café, kiosks and catering kitchens.
Working as part of a diverse team you will be working in our food spaces delivering a great experience to every customer. Your role is to work with the team to ensure high standards of food service, food safety and cleanliness are always maintained.
You may be required to work unsupervised with an expectation to deliver consistent high-quality meals to our Gold Coast community and event patrons.
This is a casual role with a focus on weekend work. We are currently experiencing our biggest growth ever and plenty of hours available for the right people.
What you bring to your new role
You possess strong organisational skills and remain focused and calm during peak services times. You have experience in fast paced kitchens and demonstrate a positive attitude to your work. You take pride in your presentation and providing fantastic service and high-quality food.
You're flexible with work hours and understand that weekend work, mornings and evenings are all part of the service we provide to the community.
Demonstrated Experience In Busy Hospitality Environments Is Required.
