NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coach/Support Coordinator
As a NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Coach / Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting NDIS participants by coordinating and implementing individualised support that aligns with their recovery goals. This role requires mental health expertise and a deep understanding of NDIS policies, psychosocial recovery, and community support services.
Responsibilities
* Support participants in understanding and making the best use of their NDIS plans.
* Coordinate and implement services that help individuals build capacity, access community supports and achieve their goals.
* Engage with stakeholders including families, carers, and service providers to ensure holistic support.
* Maintain accurate records and meet all reporting and compliance requirements under NDIS guidelines.
* Promote Richmind WA's services within the wider community.
Qualifications and Certificates
* Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health (or equivalent) OR 2+ years of experience supporting people with mental health distress.
* Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than six months).
* A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid, HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
* A current working with Children Check.
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* A valid Driver's licence.
Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of NDIS legislation, guidelines, and policies.
* Experience providing Support Coordination and working towards targets/KPIs.
* Knowledge of psychosocial recovery principles within a human services context.
* Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Desirable
* Lived experience of mental health recovery or as family members of people with a lived experience of recovery is desirable.
Attitude
* Positive attitude towards people experiencing mental distress.
* The ability to live RW values in all workplace tasks and interactions.
* Pro‐active individual who is enthusiastic and committed to upholding RW values and principles.
This role is fixed‐term, full‐time until 30 June 2027. It is working Monday to Friday and based out of our Cannington office.
