**What are we looking for?**
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Leading a team to achieve maintenance outcomes, to meet the operational needs of the business.
- Developing and implementing detailed maintenance strategies in adherence with statutory and HSEC regulations & guidelines.
- Coordinating planned maintenance activities in conjunction with relevant stakeholders.
- Managing operational and capital budget expenditure relevant to the role.
- Effective supplier and contractor management for provision of services.
- Providing technical support and assistance to maintenance personnel.
**About you**:
- You will have extensive leadership and asset management experience in an open cut mining operation.
- You will have a relevant trade or tertiary qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
- You will have demonstrated experience with asset delivery, performance improvement and cost management, with sound knowledge of condition monitoring practices and use of asset data to drive performance.
- You will have strong commercial acumen,
- You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
