Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data warehouse solutions that support key business needs for our finance client. Working closely with Senior Engineers, you will develop automated data pipelines, improve data processes, and contribute to the advancement of our Data Engineering practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop Data Pipelines: Design and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to transform and integrate data from various sources.Collaborate with Teams: Work with IT, business stakeholders, and data scientists to design and integrate data solutions.Support Operations: Provide third-level support for Data Warehouse and related systems.Optimise Data Processes: Improve existing ETL processes and streamline data flows.Mentorship & Best Practices: Help mentor team members and drive adoption of standard engineering practices.Testing & Quality Assurance: Assist with testing and ensure reliable, high-quality data solutions.Follow Agile & DevOps: Apply Agile, DevOps, and DataOps principles to improve data workflows.Key Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with ETL/ELT, APIs, and data integration.Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Problem-solving and process optimisation expertise.Experience in mentoring and supporting continuous learning.
