Your Exciting New Opportunity
As our HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with various divisions to execute and support their business plans, with a particular emphasis on workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, coaching, and employee development.
Reporting directly to the GM of Victoria/Tasmania, you will work closely with other GMs and Branch Managers as integral stakeholders in our business.
Key Responsibilities (Next 12 Months)
* EBA Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement for our teams in Victoria and WA.
* Recruitment Leadership: Oversee the recruitment and induction processes for key management roles to attract top talent.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders to comprehend business drivers, actively visiting branches to stay connected.
* Talent Development: Identify succession planning needs and competency gaps, creating and overseeing tailored individual and team development plans.
* Training Initiatives: Launch training programs for both blue and white-collar employees, including coaching strategies and an Emerging Leaders Program.
* EVP Collaboration: Work alongside our Marketing team to implement various Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and branding initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
* Education & Experience: A degree in HR with approx. 10 years of HR generalist experience, with solid expertise in recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management, and compliance.
* Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in a blue-collar/trades environment, with a track record of building trust with management at all levels.
* Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and ensure that HR activities align with overall business goals.
