As our Strategic Communications Director Oceania at EY, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communication strategies to enhance our brand reputation and build the influence of our organisation. This dynamic leadership position requires a seasoned communications professional with a strong background in public relations, media or corporate communications and track record of managing high-level strategic communications issues, lead critical incident management communications, and portfolio relationship management. Ultimately, you are a highly skilled communicator who is deeply strategic and has a passion for building and nurturing a strong communications team, who are renowned for their ability to develop relationships with decision-makers, government, and corporate clients. ? You will be someone who has an innate ability to translate complex concepts into tangible communications activities. You will also lead our internal and external communication efforts for corporate affairs/public policy, sustainability (including our EY Net Zero Centre), tech & transformation, our Chief Economist, and our service lines (Tax, Assurance, Strategy & Transactions and Consulting). Proven experience (18+ years) in strategic communications leadership roles Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences. Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to build and nurture a high-performing communications team. Prior experience in delivering exceptional results in a multinational organization with complex matrix structures and global reporting relationships. Outstanding communication abilities and the ability to build consensus and influence at the most senior levels within an organization. Exceptional skills in building high performing teams and fostering a capable, motivated and engaged workforce, Strong industry and media networks, with demonstrated results in developing relationships, running successful media relations campaigns and creating partnerships. Demonstrated success in media relations, crisis communication, and issues management.
