Job Description
Platinum Immigration is a Melbourne based recruitment firm. On behalf of the Mingara Recreation Club in Tumbi Umbi NSW, we are currently seeking a Head Squad Coach / Swimming Coach or Instructor on a full-time basis. Your role will be to deliver coaching programs and customer service.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong team focus, experience in managing or leading a similar leisure or aquatic facility along with knowledge and understanding of national swimming and water safety frameworks. This is a full-time role with two days off each week. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* End to end leadership of team including recruiting, onboarding, training, establishing and managing performance standards, timesheet maintenance, reward and recognition, team engagement and performance management
* Actively coach and develop your team, identify future leaders and invest in growing and developing future leaders
* Ensure team requirements are in line with trade, budgets and our rostering philosophy
* Educate and train team members in compliance with brand standards, service behaviours, and government regulations
* Actively participate in meetings, projects and create a culture that is built on progressive thinking, integrity, and mutual respect
* Provide leadership to the
One by Mingara team including recruiting, establishing and managing performance standards, reward and recognition, team engagement and performance management
* Be actively present on pool deck, training and coaching the team, focussing on their personal development, the delivery of curriculum, best teaching practice and industry trends
* Provide team feedback on performance, including facilitating the disciplinary process
* Conduct regular meetings, training and professional development sessions
* Support
One by Mingara operations by providing cover, advice and leadership to Fitness and Aquatics in accordance with established procedures and service levels
* Build productive working relationships at both a destination and group level
It is essential you have knowledge of national swimming and water safety frameworks, current Working with Children Check, First Aid qualification and Swimming, Water Safety and Aquatics qualifications. The salary range will be between $76,000-$95,000 per year plus super depending on experience. All suitable applications will be responded to by Platinum Immigration in the first instance.
