**About the role**
Reporting directly to the General Manger Workforce Performance, the Group Manager Workforce Planning leads a team of analysts, planners and schedulers to ensure the effective and productive planning and management of labour resources across all properties. Your focus will be to utilise, adapt and improve existing systems to achieve wage compliance and labour optimisation while striving for group wide workforce management (planning and scheduling) consistency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive the strategic direction of the Workforce Management group, developing and implementing strategies with the business which will drive an increase in labour productivity
- Proactively implement a communications network both internally within the department and externally across the enterprise to build momentum for change
- Develop a centralised workforce management analytical capability, to be leveraged across all properties and business functions
- Implement a workforce management capability that is scalable, flexible and designed for growth
- Work with the team to develop frameworks and standards which enable the delivery of optimal, safe and compliant rosters
- Liaise with business stakeholders to define and measure service levels between the function and the operational areas
- Build and maintain relationships with business units to ensure a partnership approach on labour reporting and planning, including labour standards
- Management and accountability for all group workforce management systems and software
- Use Workforce Management analytics and industry best practice to identify and initiate business improvement initiatives focused on labour productivity and roster optimisation

**About you**

- Excellent consulting and communication skills, with ability to:
- Articulate at a high level with Group Heads, General Managers and ExCo
- Lead steering committees
- Solution focused
- Ability to innovate and champion change within team as well as influencing through engagement and relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience providing strategic financial advisory, labour management and other commercial support to assist business partners with decision making
- Tertiary Qualification in Business or related discipline desirable
