Solutions Architect (Solventum)

How You Will Make An Impact
As a Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Deployment Architecture Design
o Define and document deployment models (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
o Design system architecture including data flow, security zones, and scalability.
* Infrastructure & Security Planning
o Lead discussions around VPN connectivity, AWS PrivateLink, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
o Collaborate with client IT teams on secure access, authentication, and encryption.
* Identity & Access Management
o Design and implement IDP integrations (e.g., SAML, OAuth, Azure AD).
o Ensure role-based access control and compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Technical Leadership
o Serve as a technical lead during pre-sales, implementation, and post-deployment phases.
o Provide guidance to implementation consultants and engineers on deployment best practices.
* Training & Documentation
o Work directly with client architects, IT leadership, and security teams.
o Translate business and clinical requirements into technical architecture.
Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or similar AND 3 years of experience in Healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
* 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT infrastructure and security.
* 3+ years of familiarity with clinical documentation workflows, coding workflows, and EHR systems.
* 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
* 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), VPNs, and identity providers.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
* Three (3) years of implementing software solutions in a private, public, government or military environment.
* Skills include: strong knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare compliance standards; deep understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure and security; attention to detail; strong presentation and training skills; excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to balance technical depth with business context; ability to manage multiple interface projects and meet deadlines.
