About the role
Join our production team under new management, processing kangaroo products for human consumption and pet food. You'll rotate across tasks such as trimming, boning, slicing, mincing, packing and sanitation in a chilled environment.
What you'll do
* Perform trimming/boning/slicing (knife handling) and packing/labelling to specification.
* Set up and operate equipment (mincers, conveyors, scales, metal detection) per SOPs.
* Complete batch, weight, temperature and hygiene records accurately.
* Maintain personal hygiene, GMP and housekeeping in production areas.
* Follow all WHS and food safety requirements; wear PPE; report hazards.
What you'll need
* Knife skills preferred (training available for motivated starters).
* Comfortable working in cold environments; able to lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
* Attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow procedures.
* Full work rights in Australia and reliable attendance.
Nice to have (not essential): Food handling certificate, experience in meat/seafood processing, HACCP/GMP familiarity.
