Motor Mechanic – Full Time
We are seeking an experienced and skilled motor mechanic, as well as a car enthusiast who is looking to become fully qualified, to join our dedicated workshop team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and testing motor vehicles to a high industry standard. This role involves working on both company vehicles and external customer vehicles, including emergency repair situations both on-site and off-site. All vehicles must be repaired and inspected in accordance with workshop and industry standards to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform full mechanical inspections of vehicles
* Service and repair petrol fuel systems
* Repair and replace turbochargers
* Inspect, service, repair, and replace braking systems
* Inspect, service, repair, and replace emission control systems
* Repair and replace suspension and exhaust systems
* Test, service, and charge vehicle batteries
* Inspect, service, and repair engines
* Carry out motor engine repairs
* Repair ignition systems
* Service and repair electronic spark ignition engine management systems
* Repair charging and starting systems
* Service and repair electronic drive management systems
* Service and repair electronic body management systems

About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade
* Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic (or strong hands-on experience for trainees/enthusiasts)
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
* Good customer service skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues
* A current driver's licence and reliable transport
