Our client, a well-established and vertically integrated business in the food processing industry, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their finance function and support commercial decision-making as they continue to grow.
Operating out of a major regional hub in Victoria, they have invested heavily in modern facilities, sustainability initiatives, and innovation. The company has a strong reputation for reliability, product quality, and long-standing customer relationships both domestically and internationally.

This hands-on leadership role will have you working closely with the senior executive team and play a key role in business strategy and performance. The ideal candidate will bring both financial expertise and a commercial mindset, with prior experience in the food industry.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the finance team and overseeing day-to-day financial operations
* Preparing and reviewing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Partnering with operations to drive financial performance
* Managing compliance, audit, and risk management processes
* Providing insights to support key strategic initiatives
* Driving process improvements across the finance function
To be successful, you will need:
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
* Strong understanding of cost accounting and operations in the food industry
* CPA or CA qualification
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills
* Full Australian working rights
* Be happy to work full time from Warrnambool
