About the role
We are currently seeking a Partner Operation Manager -Transfusion Science. As a key relationship owner in the service delivery for Australian Health Partners (AHPs), the Partner Operations Manager will support and lead the Partner Operations- Transfusion Scientists group located across Australia, providing a national network of Transfusion and operational support coverage. The role will ensure a standardised national approach is implemented with regional teams for health service partners through the successful delivery of agreed work plans and delivery of organisational strategy for our operational healthcare partners.
Reporting to Director of Partner Operations the role will be responsible for developing and advancing key external operational relationships including but not limited to laboratory management, hospital management and executive leaders for the purpose of understanding and representing health service partner needs while delivering to the Lifeblood and directorate strategy.

* Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Science/Medical Science/Biomedical Science with background in Transfusion Science or related analytical discipline.
* Ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships and consult with a range of external and internal stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams over an extended period.
* Proven ability of achieving results by leveraging organisational skills through effective prioritisation, decision-making, and time management.
* Support the team of Transfusion Scientists in maintaining a collaborative relationship with Australian Health Partners.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to strengthen partnerships while effectively engaging with executives.
* Track record in driving systemic improvements autonomously through analysis and process advocacy, managing complex collaborative partnerships while also being trusted specialist advisor to internal & external stakeholders.
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment (TGA regulations, NATA and NPAAC) with commitment to safety and quality.
* Comfortable attending industry conferences and events which may require travelling interstate & can be outside of regular working hours.
* Technical & Digital Aptitude
This is a permanent full-time opportunity. The role will require blend of onsite work from one of our Processing/Distribution Centres with interstate travel as required with some flexibility to WFH.
