High Precision Building Services is a growing residential and commercial carpentry company known for high-quality workmanship, reliability, and attention to detail. Our projects span new builds, renovations, commercial fit-outs, decks, pergolas, and full start-to-finish carpentry packages.
With several major projects commencing soon, we are looking to add an experienced and driven Leading Hand Carpenter to our team.

About the Role
As a Leading Hand Carpenter, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day site operations, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth workflow across residential and commercial projects. You'll work closely with the team, provide guidance to apprentices, and represent the company with professionalism on every site.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support onsite carpentry teams across residential and commercial projects
* Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications accurately
* Carry out high-quality carpentry work and ensure workmanship meets company standards
* Coordinate tasks, manage workflow, and maintain efficient site operations
* Mentor apprentices and contribute to their development
* Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
* Ensure safety protocols and site procedures are adhered to at all times

What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2–3 years post-apprenticeship experience (residential and/or commercial)
* Proven ability to lead or step into a leadership role on site
* Strong technical carpentry skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to confidently read and interpret plans and drawings
* Full tool setup, including trailer essential
* Reliable transport and a strong commitment to punctuality and professional conduct
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive attitude — someone who works hard, contributes to crew culture, and gets along well with others
