Overview
Full‐time trainee educator position on an 18‐month fixed‐term contract with potential for permanent employment upon completion of study. Pay ranges from $29.94 to $31.94 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
* Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies and procedures.
* Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
* Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team.
* Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
* Contribute to a professional and positive work culture.
Qualifications & Eligibility
* Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
* Permanent right to work in Australia.
* Good time‐management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
* Interest in early years education.
* Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willingness to receive.
* Not eligible if hold a certificate or diploma completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years, except for a school‐based certificate other than in childcare.
