About The Role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior SAP Infrastructure Engineer. This is a long‐term contract role for an initial 12‐month contract with 2 × 12‐month extension options, located Australia‐wide (remote), with travel to Canberra as required.
As The Selected Candidate, You Will
* Provide SAP Basis administration across ECC, BW, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, and SAP HANA
* Support BAU operations of Azure‐hosted SAP HANA environments
* Lead migration and configuration activities for SAP cloud and SAP Cloud Connector
* Install, configure, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot SAP HANA databases
* Provide technical leadership across SAP implementations, enhancements, and upgrades
* Deliver performance monitoring, optimisation, and system tuning
* Work collaboratively across technical teams and stakeholders
* Provide high‐level technical problem‐solving and support services
To be successful in this role you should have
* Strong SAP Basis and SAP HANA technical expertise
* Experience installing, configuring, and patching SAP databases
* Demonstrated shell scripting and PL/SQL programming skills
* Experience in SAP performance monitoring and optimisation
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven experience working in enterprise or government ICT environments
* Ability to work independently and within cross‐functional teams
* Demonstrated ethical conduct and professional standards
It is desirable if you have
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA cloud environments
* Experience with Azure‐hosted SAP landscapes
* SAP Cloud Connector experience
* Experience in large‐scale SAP migration programs
* Federal Government or highly regulated environment experience
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with Baseline security clearance eligibility.
