Job Profile:
The APCC is the peak council whose members are responsible for procurement, construction, and asset management policy for the Australian, State and Territory governments and the New Zealand Government.
The APCC Directorate consists of small team located in Deakin, ACT.

You are a self-motivated, detail-oriented person with a positive, proactive approach. You're comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

The role
The main focus of this role is to assist in the co-ordination, research and drafting of materials and artefacts for projects and initiatives across various programs within the Directorate of the Australasian Procurement and Construction Council (APCC).
Duties and Responsibilities
The key duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Project Support and Coordination:
Assist the Executive Director in the development and execution of special projects, providing administrative, logistical, and technical support
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure project success
Maintain and update project documentation, such as project plans, schedules and status reports
Track project progress, reporting updates and potential issues to the Executive Director.
Administrative Tasks Associated with Projects:
Organise and support the governance and secretariat arrangements for projects including the preparation and issuing of meeting agendas, action items, project schedules and minutes in a timely manner
Manage members' attendance at meetings and other events
Follow-up actions between meetings
Manage and maintain project files, records, and databases, ensuring proper organisation and easy accessibility.
Research and Information Management:
Undertake research, analysis and interpretation of complex issues and opportunities relating to project matters
Record, collate, and organise a variety of Government information and data for the purpose of cross-jurisdictional comparisons
Collect, organise, and analyse project-related data and information, providing insights and recommendations to the Executive Director
Generate and manage engagement statistics for projects
Where required, hold high-level discussions, liaise with, and collaborate with project members for information exchange
Assist in the development and maintenance of project performance metrics and reporting systems
Support information exchange and collaboration among members.
General Office Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with answering the phone as required
From time to time and in the absence of other staff, assist the Executive Director with general office administrative tasks, including IT troubleshooting where you have the capability to do so.
