About the role
The Design 10 or Innovation Centre team member is responsible for developing relationships across the business and with our customer and supplier network and is key to helping drive and maintain the culture and sales strategy of the business. They will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating opportunities and building relationships with new and existing clients. The position is required to deliver high customer service standards and to achieve high level sales within the Trade Scope of 'Whole of House Offer' which includes but is not limited to Cladding and Flooring inclusive of cladding systems, flooring, decking, internal lining and accessories. As well as Windows, Doors and Door Accessories as part of the initial offering at the Centre.
Skills and experience
 * Handle routine and specialist customer queries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.
 * Develop strong relationships with the supplier and customer networks and provide timely support and service to customers in order to maximize the network potential and product offering
 * Gaining an understanding of the current market trends, stock availability/stock holding and pricing in a fast-changing environment is imperative to success.
 * Gaining an understanding of what the proposed project end result is to look like, and from that point offer solutions based on the current market stock availability, price and end result whilst ensuring a smooth sales process from quote to customer order to site delivery.
 * Being transparent with clients/customers around realistic expectations and timing is a part of this, integrity with how we run our business is key.
 * Handle customer queries and process sales in the Showroom directly
 * Excellent communication, integrity, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
 * Technical understanding of 'Whole of House products most importantly within the relevant climate
 * Liaising with other departments/sites across Fagg's Group
 * Working as part of team to deliver great sales outcomes
