Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a strategic professional to manage our supply chain, enabling competitive advantage through procurement, planning and fulfillment, supplier development and quality, logistics and inventory.
The ideal candidate will create sourcing strategies to reduce risk and meet targets, develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships, communicate and drive compliance to sourcing strategies, and identify and execute cost reduction projects. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define SLAs and KPIs, conducting research and benchmarking, gathering market analysis, creating contract documents, managing contracts, and maximizing value and cost savings benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create comprehensive sourcing strategies to mitigate risk and achieve objectives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
* Drive compliance with established sourcing strategies
* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
* Promote collaboration with stakeholders to establish performance metrics
* Conduct market research and gather data for informed decision-making
* Develop and manage contracts to maximize value and minimize costs
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management
* 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with aerospace components and technical procurement processes
* Strong analytical skills and ability to read complex drawings and blueprints
* Experience with manufacturing, designing production components, and APICS certification
* Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Working Conditions:
* Must be able to travel up to 50% of work week, including international travel
* Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
