The Role
This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for the day‑to‑day management of modular installation and site completion works at our Crestmead site, with oversight of multiple concurrent projects.
You will lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors and internal teams, and ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Establish and manage construction sites, including signage, permits, inductions and compliance requirements
Coordinate site inspections with crane operators, service trades and subcontractors to define scope and obtain quotes
Oversee and manage site preparation works, including set‑out, footings, services and associated activities
Lead and coordinate multiple site carpentry teams to deliver installation and completion works
Plan, program and implement modular installations onsite
Act as the primary site‑based liaison with clients during installation works and handover
Plan, program and manage site completion activities, including services connections, finishing trades and defect rectification
Ensure all WHS documentation is current and compliant at all times (permits, inductions, SWMS, forms, etc.)
Manage material take‑offs and procurement for site‑related works
Understand and manage project budgets, engaging subcontractors to deliver scope within cost constraints
Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimise modular construction processes The Successful Candidate Proven experience establishing and managing construction sites with a strong safety‑first mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast‑paced environment
Strong client engagement skills with experience resolving onsite issues effectively
Well‑developed planning, programming and scheduling capability
Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to overcoming challenges
Genuine enthusiasm for process improvement and operational efficiency
Minimum 3+ years' experience in the construction industry
Strong computer skills, including managing online site inductions and documentation
Experience managing multiple sites or complex site operations (highly regarded)
Trade background desirable but not essential
