Administrative Support Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. In this dynamic role, you will provide administrative support across various functions, including accounts payable and receivable, client statement generation, and general administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage client budgets and purchases, including ongoing monitoring of income and expenditure across quarterly budgets
2. Process government-funded claims
3. Undertake accounts payable and account receivable functions for Support at Home transactions
4. Liaise with broader finance and accounts payable departments as required
5. Serve as a point of contact for phone and face-to-face enquiries
6. Provide filing and archiving support
Essential Skills and Attributes:
* Accounts payable and/or receivable experience
* Extensive experience in windows-based computer skills (I.e. Microsoft Office Suite including Excel) & CRM databases
* A good level of communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
* Ability to work in pre-determined time frames
* Flexibility to work within varying administrative and finance functions
