About the Role
This is a client facing support role where services are delivered remotely and through onsite visits, depending on client requirements, with a focus on effective troubleshooting and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 1–2 IT support across a managed services environment
* Manage service desk tickets (logging, tracking, resolution, follow-up)
* Deliver remote troubleshooting across desktops, servers, and cloud platforms
* Assist onsite client visits for issue resolution and deployments
* Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and user account management
* Perform backup monitoring and disaster recovery checks
* Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and SOE rollouts
* Assist with root cause analysis and proactive issue prevention
* Collaborate with senior engineers on escalations and projects
Requirements
* MSP experience is a MUST HAVE
* Minimum 2 years’ experience of providing Level 1-2 support
* Experience with onsite/field technical support
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Relevant IT qualification or certifications (e.g. MCSA, MCP, MCSE)
* Valid driver’s licence
Technical Skills (Preferred but not required to have all experience)
* Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
* Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD / Entra ID
* Windows Server (2012/2016/2019)
* Networking: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, firewalls
* Virtualisation & Cloud (Microsoft Azure)
* Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions
* Endpoint support (Windows 10/11)
