Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Practice Nurse to lead our nursing team on the Sunshine Coast. This is a hands-on role that combines patient care with team supervision and development. The position can be filled on a permanent part-time (4 days a week) or full-time basis, depending on the preference of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering high-quality patient care for chronic diseases, immunizations, screening, and wound care
* Supporting a team of practice nurses across both sites
* Coordinating rosters, managing supplies, and ensuring clinical standards
* Assisting the Practice Manager with recruitment, training, audits, and regulatory compliance as needed
* Collaborating with GPs and managers on service planning and improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* AHPRA Registration as a Nurse
* Strong primary care experience
* Excellent clinical and communication skills
* A passion for patient care, service quality, and staff development
* Full working rights in Australia
