This role requires experience in converting from one system to another, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal business disruption.
You will be directly involved in the execution and delivery of technology consulting projects from start to finish, managing every detail and working closely with both clients and internal experts to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.This is a practical, end-to-end role where you will be expected to take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final delivery, actively solving problems, managing risks, and ensuring quality at every step.
To succeed in this role, you must have hands-on experience in IT system implementation, integration, and data migration, particularly within payroll systems.If you are looking for a role where you can get deeply involved in project delivery and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, this is the position for you.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGEnd-to-End Project Management: Take complete ownership of projects from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.Payroll System Implementation & Data Migration: Lead the migration and integration of payroll systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth transitions from legacy systems to new platforms.Detailed Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute detailed project plans, drive project activities, and manage milestones to ensure successful project delivery.
Hands-on involvement with project tasks, ensuring nothing is left overlooked.Client Management: Act as the direct point of contact with clients, maintaining constant communication to manage expectations and ensure project alignment with client goals.Team Collaboration: Coordinate and lead project team members, making sure they are aligned and accountable for their contributions.
Resolve issues and guide the team toward project success.Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, working on detailed contingency plans to address potential setbacks.Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets, track project expenditures in real-time, and deliver financial reports to senior management.Hands-on Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet rigorous quality standards and client requirements.
Be involved in QA processes and review deliverables directly.Regular Reporting & Documentation: Provide stakeholders with clear, detailed updates on project progress, risks, and financials.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle.Continuous Improvement: Look for opportunities to improve project processes, applying lessons learned and refining methods for future projects.RequirementsWHO YOU AREBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in hands-on, end-to-end project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects.
Consulting experience is a plus.Extensive experience with payroll system implementation, data migration, and system migration & integration.Strong knowledge of converting systems and handling data transformation processes.Proficient in managing every aspect of a project and comfortable diving into details, actively solving problems, and keeping things on track.Strong knowledge and practical experience in applying project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.Ability to lead by example, work closely with teams, and influence them to take ownership of their tasks while being fully accountable for the project's success.Resourceful and thrives when faced with challenges, resolving issues with a hands-on approach.PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are beneficial but not essential if you have demonstrable hands-on experience.Payroll system experience in Preceda and iChris is a plusWHY JOIN USEveryone who joins our team is treated as a trusted member of the team, not a number.
