A temporary opportunity is now available for an experienced reporting and coordination officer to join the team in Strategic Infrastructure (SI) team in Health and Community Services Directorate. The Branch supports the Territory’s health system by: health system leadership – setting direction for services, funding and laws that support public health health promotion and protection – preventing illness and keeping people well planning and improvement – making sure services meet people’s needs now and, in the future, early support – helping people stay safe, take part in their community and live well inclusion and access – helping people find the right support when they need it strong communities – helping people feel included and connected where they live. SI Branch takes a long-term look at health infrastructure in the ACT using clinical input, demand scenarios, population projections, community feedback, asset assessment and infrastructure information to manage and plan for infrastructure that meets community needs. The Assistant Director, Governance coordinates governance and reporting requirements for the Strategic Infrastructure Branch as well as providing support for procurements, Cabinet and business case processes and other public and project administration. This role engages with project managers to draft and deliver a suite of documents to support their projects, and perform other project support duties as required and analyse and prepare advice for senior executive. This role coordinates reports and meetings for governance committees and provide timely reporting and information to executives and project teams to ensure the delivery of key project objectives. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 31 December 2025 with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
