About The Opportunity
Programmed Electrical Technologies department is seeking an Audio-Visual Specialist to join ourNational Teamon a full-time basis inMelbourne.
This is an exciting chance to be part of a forward-thinking technology team delivering cutting-edge video conferencing and communication solutions to a range of high-profile clients.
In this dynamic role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, pricing, and implementation of all technical aspects within tenders and projects.
This position suits a high-performing technical estimator with a strong passion for business development and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop responses to opportunities to key customers and accounts such as corporate, government and defence markets.
Designing, pricing and implementation of all technical elements in the tender, opportunity and project delivery stages.
Assess potential business opportunities to align with business policies and strategies
Engage directly with key decision makers to develop ongoing relationships
Use approved software's to manage and produce the bids
Manage bid processes to assess/upload contracts, details specifications, drawings, management of addendums and RFIs
Organise site visits to assist with problem solving, building relationships and communicating with the end user
Conceptualizing drawings and completing minor drawing changes
Engage directly with stakeholders and key decision-makers within these markets to develop strong and ongoing working relationships
Assess local markets to produce a strategy to increase the presence of the Electrical Technologies business in the market to achieve the required turnover and gross profit.
Assess business opportunities in conjunction with business policies and procedures.
Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders and decision-makers throughout bid and project lifecycle.
Prepare and initiate meetings at the outset of the project with key project members including job summary reports, specifications, etc.
Assist the Project Manager in closing out the project through the provision of relevant documentation.
About You
To join our team, you will be experienced in Audio-Visual Technologies with first-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
Additionally, you will possess;
Qualification in Audio Engineering, Lighting or Video Technology or similar is desirable
A current defense clearance is advantageous
A passion to provide and execute high-quality work at all times
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work within a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
