Job Overview
Our company seeks an Electrical Technician to support our team of engineering professionals. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in electrical panel construction, troubleshooting motor control systems, and providing support for the installation of new electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Construct and assemble electrical panels
* Troubleshoot motor control systems and industrial PLC control systems
* Provide support for the installation of new electrical equipment
* Read and work from electrical schematic drawings
* Produce electrical drawings on CAD
Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate or Diploma in Higher Engineering Trade
* 10+ years' proven experience in electrical field, design, and commissioning control systems
* Holds a current NSW Electrical Licence
* A safety-first approach
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
* Basic to intermediate level PLC and HMI software skills
* Familiarity with industrial sensors and signalling
* Electronic skills - PCB assembly, troubleshooting, circuit drawing interpretation
