Hay Australia prides itself on exporting quality hay products to our customers around the world. Working closely with our growers, we purchase, store and process hay to export via our robust supply chain network.
We have recently embarked on a phase of rapid growth, which includes the acquisition of four hay processing facilities in WA, VIC and SA making our group a leader in the Australian Export Hay industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Logically analysis and problem solve process line faults.
* Trouble shoot all upstream and downstream processing equipment.
* Carry out daily inspections of the facilities and all equipment to identify and resolve any issues.
* Involved in daily and routine pre-start checks for machines.
* Be involved with planning, repair, and installation activities.
* Monitor equipment spare inventory and inform for further requirements.
* Follow MEX work order system to complete daily/routine PM Tasks.
* Prompt repairs by responding to emergency breakdowns and call outs.
* Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
* Develop further maintenance procedures as required and ensure implementation.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in maintenance of fixed and mobile plant and machinery.
* Knowledge of PLC operated machines.
* Experience and understanding of Hydraulics system.
* Hands on Mechanical, Hydraulic, and fitting shop work.
* Ability to keep track of and report on maintenance activity.
* Strong overall mechanical aptitude.
* Flexibility with work hours.
* Working at heights.
* Physically fit for duties.
Desired Skills
* Previous experience operating a hay press, or a PLC controlled fixed plant.
* Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electromechanics,
Location
Located in Victoria's Loddon Mallee farming region, our Bridgewater site is located approximately 33km from Bendigo. Our business operates five days per week and shifts are 12 hours. There is possible weekend and after hours call out work.
12 hours Monday to Friday.
Salary paid on experience.
Permanent Full Time Role.
