About the Company:
Talent Focus Recruitment have partnered with a leading manufacturer in Wagga Wagga who design, and manufacture concrete railway sleepers. With 4 key factories across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, our client has a significant focus on people, innovation, research and development and safety to ensure client needs are exceeded.
About the Role:
Within this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of concrete sleepers including:
* Preparing of concrete moulds (cleaning, scraping, and applying lubricants as required)
* Set up of moulding equipment (including use of hand tools)
* Machine operation as required
* Performing tests to ensure quality assurance and control processes are met
* Forklift operation (if licensed)
Key Requirements:
* Experience with hand and power tools highly regarded but not required
* A high regard for health and safety
* Ability to pass through pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing
* A reasonable level of physical fitness
* Ability to work both independently and as a team
* Forklift desirable, but not required
