We are seeking a skilled Restaurant & Catering Manager to oversee and grow both the restaurant and catering operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant while also driving the growth and execution of our expanding catering services. Collaborate with chefs to create innovative, seasonal menus that reflect the diverse and flavourful Indian cuisine Maya Da Dhaba is known for. Work closely with clients to create personalized menus and event experiences for weddings, corporate functions, and private events, ensuring every detail exceeds expectations. Lead and support both the restaurant and catering teams, ensuring top-tier service delivery and adherence to health and safety regulations. Hire, train, and evaluate staff for both the restaurant and catering teams to maintain the highest levels of performance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the restaurant clients, offering customized solutions that align with their vision for both in-house dining and special events. Oversee the budgeting and financial aspects of both restaurant and catering operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or service. Cultivate relationships with trusted vendors to ensure seamless execution of restaurant catered events operations. Gather and analyse client feedback to continually improve the dining and catering experience, ensuring high satisfaction rates across both channels. Stay updated on industry trends in restaurant management and event coordination to bring fresh ideas and best practices to Maya Da Dhaba. Play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of the catering services, particularly for weddings and large functions, while also supporting the day-to-day restaurant operations. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications At least 1 year of experience in a similar role Proven track record in catering management and/or restaurant operations, with the ability to oversee events and daily restaurant functions. Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong team management and the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, and adept at solving operational challenges to ensure smooth service delivery.
