The Infection Prevention and Control Unit is a small team that oversees infection prevention strategies across Southern Tasmania. The team is known for their expertise and collaborative approach, ensuring safe and high-quality care through evidence-based practices, education, and ongoing support.
The role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant is to work in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager - Infection Control (NUM) in the evaluation, planning, and development of contemporary infection control practice across acute hospital and community services.
