About the role
IrriPro is seeking a full-time Excavator Operator to join our team based in Toowoomba, Queensland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality irrigation projects across Queensland working 14 days on and 7 days off, utilizing modern Kobelco excavators.
What you'll be doing
* Safely and skillfully operating excavators on various sites, including site preparation, trenching, live digs and material handling
* Performing daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment
* Communicating with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
* Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
* Providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator
* Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance
* Willing to train the right candidate
* Demonstrates ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Clean and tidy manner
