EHPlabs is seeking an Industrial Engineer / Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate the movement, storage, and distribution of goods across our Australia and New Zealand operations, while managing international freight to support our global markets.
About the Role
In this role, you'll ensure inventory is delivered on time, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with regulations, all while fostering strong relationships with supply chain partners and internal teams. Beyond day-to-day logistics, you'll analyse operations; including personnel, equipment, facilities, and processes, to identify opportunities for improvement, enhance efficiency, and optimise resource use. Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of inventory to various locations as required by the business, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Analyse existing logistics workflows, resource utilisation, and operational processes to recommend and implement improvements that enhance productivity across commercial, industrial, and production environments.
* Prepare and manage regulatory and customs documentation for international shipments, including SLIs, packing slips, commercial invoices, and import/export permits.
* Drive cost savings and operational improvements through benchmarking, vendor negotiations, contract management, and quarterly performance reviews of third-party logistics providers.
* Strengthen efficiencies with Australia/New Zealand fulfilment partners by negotiating favourable terms, monitoring KPIs/SLAs, and implementing process enhancements.
* Support sales administration with order inputs, customer invoicing, and the timely fulfilment of all customer orders.
* Provide daily reporting, analysis, and feedback to sales teams on shipped orders, including BOLs, tracking updates, and any issues affecting inventory or delivery.
* Maintain accurate inventory records across all Australia/New Zealand locations, ensuring stock availability and proactive management of slow-moving or short shelf-life products.
* Coordinate transfers between fulfilment locations to optimise stock utilisation and reduce waste.
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners on current inventory levels, potential risks, and operational updates.
About you
You will have:
* Have knowledge of import/export processes and requirements across global supply chain
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience reviewing and optimising the use of personnel, facilities, and materials.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
