Our well-known local client, Bright Sparks Child Development Centre, are on the hunt to add to their team of skilled and passionate Teachers and Educators, with a qualified Early Childhood Teacher!
Bright Sparks believe in making a difference to young people and their early development. Their family‐owned centre offers quality care for children, from the age of 3 months, right up to the moment they take their big steps forward into Kindergarten.
The important role of a Bright Sparks' Teacher is to provide developmentally appropriate resources and activities, to continuously extend and develop the children's interests, challenges, and abilities.
Responsibilities
* Provide developmentally appropriate resources and activities.
* Continuously extend and develop children's interests, challenges, and abilities.
* Cover a long‐daycare roster, with hours between 7:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Friday (part‐time roster also available).
* Be on your feet constantly and move your body with energetic children.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent.
* Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
* Current and clear police check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
* First Aid and CPR certification.
* Ability to cover a long‐daycare roster, with hours between 7:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Friday (part‐time roster also available).
* Great physical fitness, with ability to be on your feet constantly.
* An entertaining and development‐focused personality, with natural ability to interact with diverse groups.
* A keen interest for continuous development and growth in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
