About the role
A Branch Manager at the manufacturing facility plays a pivotal role in steering and inspiring a diverse team of highly skilled professionals, ranging from administrative staff to production team members. Your primary mission will be to oversee and enhance the core operations of the truss and frame production. A key focus on ensuring its functions at peak efficiency and adhering to the highest standards to align with customer time-lines. Their Branch Managers are commercially capable and are responsible for the financial and cultural indicators of their manufacturing facility. A key responsibility with this established and phenomenally successful company is to ensure they continue to offer an unrivalled service and product to their trade customers.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Oversee all operational aspects of the branch including distribution, manufacturing, customer service, financial management, human resources, administration and sales.
* Drive initiatives that increase operational efficiency's including integrating new technologies into production processes and ensuring Australian standards are adhered to.
* Plan, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve budgets, targets, company objectives and enhance the customer experience through improved product quality and service.
* Proactively manage and consistently exceed delivery schedules, maintain transparent communications with clients and uphold the company's commitment to reliability and trust.
* Oversee stock inventory, monthly P&L reporting and annual forecasting and explore new business opportunities
* Drive a high performing team through effective leadership, coaching and training to ensure all expectations are meet.
* Ensure compliance with all procedures and further enhance the commitment to a strong WHS culture.
Skills & experience
* Previous experience as an Operations Manager role within manufacturing/ engineering.
* A strong operational background with an understanding of the residential construction process or the supply chain process.
* Passion for sales and exceeding customer's expectations, in order to maximise the profitability of the branch.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team of up to 30 members.
* You must be highly organised, strengths in planning, excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise, along with strong problems solving skills.
* Experienced in effective negotiation and influencing skills and be commercially astute.
