About the Role
We are seeking motivated Entry Level Production Workers to join a busy manufacturing facility. This role involves hands‐on production and general labouring tasks, working with concrete products, moulds, and manufacturing equipment.
You will be supported with training and will work as part of a team to safely meet production targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Working with concrete products, including strapping and tipping sleepers from moulds
* General labouring duties, including manual handling and heavy lifting
* Operating basic manufacturing machinery and equipment (training provided)
* Potential operation of forklift and other plant (where licensed)
* Carrying out work safely and efficiently in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and site requirements
* Conducting inspections and testing of plant and equipment and reporting results
* Identifying and controlling hazards associated with plant, equipment, and work methods
* Ensuring immediate corrective action is taken for quality defects or non‐conformance
* Performing basic equipment maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs
* Assisting trade‐qualified personnel as required
* Participating in risk assessments, JRAs, and FSRs
* Reporting all incidents, injuries, near misses, and faulty equipment to the Supervisor or HSE Advisor
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within work areas
* Supporting on‐the‐job training of new employees, casuals, or contractors as directed
Essential Skills, Tickets, and Experience
* Willingness to learn and develop skills in a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience operating machinery or power tools (advantageous)
* High Risk Licence (Forklift) highly regarded
* Current valid Drivers Licence
* Current White Card
* Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
* Understanding of workplace safety and quality principles
