Senior Infrastructure Designer
As a Senior Infrastructure Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the world's infrastructure landscape. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and maintaining structures that support our daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Technical Expertise: Provide civil engineering advice and apply advanced technical skills to produce high-quality designs for infrastructure projects.
* Ensure Quality and Compliance: Perform detailed analysis and design tasks aligned with relevant technical standards, client requirements, and quality assurance processes.
* Collaborate Across Disciplines: Engage proactively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and multidisciplinary contributors to ensure coordinated, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
* Drive Project and Team Success: Contribute to the commercial and operational success of projects by applying sound project management principles, meeting deliverables, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Champion Innovation and Safety: Assist in the development and integration of BIM and digital engineering practices, supporting sustainable design solutions and improved health and safety outcomes across infrastructure projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Master's/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a commitment to professional development, ideally working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation.
* 3+ years of hands-on design experience in highways and infrastructure projects, preferably within the NSW market.
* Experience on Transport for NSW (TfNSW) road projects is highly regarded.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and exposure to industry-standard road design software such as 12D, OpenRoads, or Civil 3D.
* Strong knowledge of local design standards including the Austroads Guide to Road Design (AGRD) and TfNSW Supplements.
