Here's a snapshot of your day:
* Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
* Reviews assigned work orders.
* Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
* Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
* Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
* Reviews work orders, estimates time and materials needed to repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies.
* Maintains lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
* Responds quickly to emergency situations
Skills and experience:
* Relevant and valid OH&S cards preferred, such as License for operating a Forklift, Elevating Work Platform, and Work Safely At Heights.
* Suitable Trade qualifications or experience in plumbing is highly desirable, and hands-on with building repair/carpentry work.
* Basic knowledge and safety awareness around electrical work.
* Experience with general repairs and maintenance in a structured commercial environment.
* Valid Driver's License.
