The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated Lawyer with 3+ years PQE to join our Property Law team at our Ballarat or Geelong office. As a Lawyer in our Property Law team, you will work across a diverse range of property matters. This will include residential, farming and commercial property transactions, subdivision lodgements, easement and lease negotiations, adverse possession, subdivisions and consolidations, development agreements, and environmental law matters across a large client-base.
The suitable applicant will be based predominantly in our Property Law Department and work closely with our Corporate and Commercial Law Department, with a particular focus on property based commercial transactions and complex property matters.

(a) Admitted as a Lawyer in Victoria with a current practising certificate.
(b) 3+ years post-admission experience in Property Law.
(c) Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
(d) Excellent drafting and written communication skills.
(e) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PEXA, DOL and adaptability to legal practice management software.
(f) Strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities.
(g) Committed to ethical standards, professional integrity, and continuous professional development.
(h) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
(i) Resilience to work under pressure and meet strict conveyancing and client deadlines.
Appointment is subject to the successful completion of a National Police Check and Verification of Identity (VOI) requirements.
