About the Role
We are seeking a friendly & professional amenity cleaner to join our Bonny Hills Holiday Park. This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
2. Ensure all common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
3. Any other duties as assigned by management
4. Check for and remove any rubbish; empty bins if required
5. Attend to emergencies and escalate to management if required
6. Sweep, bleach, scrub and mop the floors of common areas
7. Wipe and clean all benches and tables
8. Empty bins and clean bins as necessary
9. Restock hand towels, tea towels, scorers and washing liquid
10. Clean all toilets and toilet facilities, including restocking amenities, cleaning mirrors and floors
11. Review amenities store room and advise office employees of any required chemicals and supplies that need to be ordered
About You
1. Practical experience / work history in a cleaning role
2. Well organised and a strong eye for detail
3. Ability to communicate with all departments
4. Ability to make decisions and able to work with minimal supervision
5. Confident and able to raise any concerns to management or another department
6. Positive and enthusiastic
Physical Requirements
1. Frequent lifting of rubbish bins, cleaning supplies and equipment
2. Use of broom, mop, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment
3. Repetitive use of muscular force, bending, twisting and stretching when carrying out cleaning tasks
4. Frequent walking around the site
5. Use of cleaning products and chemicals
6. Use of PPE such as rubber gloves and facemasks
