Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and want a role that truly matters? We're looking for reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our catering team at both of our sites at either East Mackay or Beaconsfield., where every meal plays an important role in the health, comfort and wellbeing of our residents.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand, you'll support the preparation and service of nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team that takes pride in creating positive dining experiences every day.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assisting with food preparation, plating and meal service
* Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
* Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, dining and food storage areas
* Supporting compliance with food safety, hygiene and infection control standards
* Working collaboratively with cooks and catering staff to meet residents' dietary needs
What We're Looking For
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* Reliability and flexibility across shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekends
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene (or willingness to learn)
* Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential
