The Role
We are partnering with a national consultancy organisation to find a Project Director to lead teams delivering major projects, while setting strategic direction and ensuring all works align with contractual obligations and defence/federal government standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Project Managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary advisory/delivery teams.
* Oversee project delivery, procurement, and alignment with corporate strategy.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with defence clients, government bodies, and senior stakeholders.
* Mentor and develop consulting staff.
* Act as the primary in-state point of contact for client and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
* 10+ years' experience in senior Project Management or Engineering consulting roles, with at least 5+ years leading project delivery teams.
* 5+ years' experience delivering defence upgrades, infrastructure projects, or high-profile federal site projects.
* Background in defence, government, infrastructure, or major capital projects, with an NV1 clearance.
* Proven experience managing multiple teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
* Degree in Engineering (Civil, electrical or Mechanical), Construction, or a related field, and/or formal PMP training.
