Control & Electric is currently seeking a Sustainability Engineer to join our Energy, Engineering and Services team in our Canberra office.
Control & Electric is a leading building automation and controls contractor, specialised in delivering turn-key solutions for the built environment. Our seamless in-house teams span expertise in manufacturing, construction, engineering, post-construction fine tuning and service. Our installations provide comfort, energy efficiency and practical results for some of the most prominent, secure, and critical buildings in the Canberra and Newcastle regions.
Duties
Assist senior staff with project delivery. Examples include system design, hardware and network integration, commissioning, reporting, and building optimisation.
Work collaboratively within a team environment.
Design and implement well documented and testable code.
Identify optimisation opportunities, develop business cases and implement control changes and optimisation strategies.
Comply with internal policies and procedures, and those of client's when on client site.
Desired Skills and Experience
Exposure to mechanical systems, building services and energy efficiency.
Experience in converting, managing, and analysing data to generate professional reports and dashboard visualisations.
Basic level of programming experience in one or more programming languages.
High proficiency with personal computers.
Experience with industrial control systems, metering equipment and remote monitoring.
