Your Role and Responsibilities:
Public Transport is an essential service and Transdev are committed to providing a safe and reliable bus service to our passengers. As a Spray Painter/Body Builder with Transdev, you will be responsible for all facets of maintaining our fleet of buses to ensure we can deliver a clean, safe, and comfortable journey to our community.
In order to meet roadworthy compliance, your daily focus will be conducting safety checks, body/panel repairs, spraying/painting, attaching bus components and more. Previous experience working with Buses is desirable but not mandatory.

The Talent you bring:
Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Fabrication, Vehicle Body Building or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of Vehicle Spray Painting/Body Building experience is required for this position.
Applicants MUST hold valid work authorisation for Australia, including valid work visas.
Current HR or C Class drivers license (or ability to obtain)
Experience in Bus maintenance and Public Transport operations (desirable)
Experience with scan tools (TechTool - Volvo Diagnostic Software desirable)
Strong fabrication and spraying skills
Knowledgeable in using Fleet Maintenance Management Systems (ideal but not required)
Safety Focus individual and a Team player.
Works well in a team environment and can work unsupervised
Computer literacy for accurate maintenance record keeping
