Details: The Justice and Community Safety Directorate is seeking applications for an experienced leader with senior management skills to fill the role of Executive Branch Manager, Corporate Services in ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS).
This position reports directly to the Commissioner of ACTCS and is accountable for providing corporate enabling functions. As a key member of the ACTCS Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Branch Manager Corporate Services is responsible for the management and oversight of several teams including people and culture, financial management, procurement and contracts, information and business solutions, statistical analysis, research, data analysis and reporting, and the Organisational Capability Unit (training and development), which support operations and strengthen organisational governance.
The ACT Government is committed to providing a corrective services system in the ACT that reflects the most modern practices consistent with meeting its aims of promoting rehabilitation, reducing recidivism, protecting human rights, maintaining security and ensuring best practice service delivery in a correctional services environment. We are looking for a collaborative leader who can deliver outcomes for staff, clients and the ACT Community, with the ability to work effectively and strategically with a range of Government and non-Government stakeholders.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $289,335 - $298,258 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $254,964.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
