Komatsu Mining Technologies is offering a career-building opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Regional Service Team.
This pivotal role will have you at the helm of our Curragh Mammoth Mine site-based service team, supporting our customer as they operate a brand-new fleet of Komatsu bord and pillar mining equipment.
The role
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, this role is responsible for efficiently managing daily site and business operations, including ensuring site safety, maintaining equipment, responding to breakdowns, staff scheduling, customer interaction, and reporting as per contractual obligations.
You will be an essential part of the site management team, fostering strong customer relationships both within the organization and with external clients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need Mechanical/Electrical trade and/or engineering qualifications with underground coal mining experience on continuous miners, shuttle cars, and associated equipment.
Additionally, you should be able to:
* Build and foster genuine relationships
* Mentor, support, and coordinate a team of service personnel
* Monitor and report on product performance
* Lead and drive continuous improvement processes
